who we are
The Hudson House New York is the first of its kind waterfront destination distillery. A craft distillery in the cellar of a former monastery, event space and soon-to-be-boutique hotel located in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Situated on an iconic 27-acre waterfront property enabling both land and water access, The Hudson House is home to a one-of-a-kind farm distillery, producing ultra premium, limited batch spirits.

property history
Built in the 1850s, The Hudson House was most recently a 100+ year-old monastery. In 2015, we became the 4th owner in over 150 years when the Vatican approved our purchase and the vision for its new life began. The Hudson House encompasses a majestic old world setting, breathtaking vistas and walking trails down to the river. Currently, the venue boasts a large deck with unobstructed views of the Hudson River and historic landmarks making it an unforgettable setting for any occasion.
In keeping with the original Italian villa revival style of architecture, we have committed to restore and maintain the property’s existing beauty as we transform it into a top destination for locals and tourists in the Hudson Valley. Schedule a tour to learn more about the past, present, and future.
